The deadline for submitting proposals for Special Sessions at the 2000 AGU/ASLO Ocean Sciences Meeting is 11 JUNE 1999. Note: P. Wiebe, T. Powell, B. de Young, E. Hoffman and R. Beardsley have a preliminary proposal for a session on "Integrating biology and physics in ecosystem studies of planktonic populations".
This meeting is designed specifically to meet the needs of oceanographers, limnologists, meteorologists, and scientists working in related areas. Subdisciplines for this meeting are atmospheric sciences, estuarine sciences, limnology, oceanography, and ocean technology.
You are invited to contribute to the success of this meeting by suggesting special session topics or sessions. Proposals should include:
