Principal Investigators' Meeting

AGENDA
- Roundtable introductions by everyone present. Each person
will take two minutes to describe what they have been funded to do
during Phase III.
- Discuss how the funded research will affect the ship
schedule. Prepare a an updated ship request based on these
discussions.
- Discuss the missing elements in the program. Decide on the
necessary funding for each element and determine their priority.

NOTE: The lead PI for each proposal
should also e-mail, prior to the meeting, a brief abstract in the
form of a summary work statement including a list of your
objectives. These summaries will be made available to all the
tentative PI's so that they can come better prepared to this
meeting.
DIRECTIONS
From Boston
Route 24 South to Interstate 495, to Route 25, to Route 28. At
rotaries, follow signs to Falmouth/Woods Hole. At intersection in
Falmouth, take right onto Woods Hole Road. The Quisset Campus entrance
is about 3/4 of a mile past the light, on the left.
From Providence
East on Interstate 195. Follow signs to Cape Cod, Route 25, to
Route 28. At rotaries, follow signs to Falmouth/Woods Hole. At
intersection in Falmouth, take right onto Woods Hole Road.
The Quisset Campus entrance
is about 3/4 of a mile past the light, on the left.

TRAVEL
Please make your own travel arrangements. Cape Cod is accessible
via bus (Bonanza) and air (Hyannis Airport is ~45 minutes to the
east of Woods Hole).
PARKING
There is on-site parking available in the Woods Hole Oceanographic
Institution, Quissett Campus parking lots, located near the Clark
Laboratory.
Parking Permits will be available the day of the meeting
LUNCH
Lunches can be purchased from the on-campus "Buttery" as well as from
one of several area restaurants.
