Abstract
The basin-scale North Atlantic Model is being evaluated for realistic behavior during the high- and low-NAO periods. The modeled Gulf Stream follows a northern (southern) latitudinal path during high (low) NAO forcings. Advection of LSW into slope-sea region during GLOBEC period is also simulated in the model runs.
