Abstract

An update of the Basin-scale ROMS simulation for high and low NAO periods will be followed by a description of methodology to create 4-D circulation fields for GOM. A synthesis of SST, FORMS and ROMS with supplemental Levitus creates the 4-D environment for bio-physical experiments in GOM. Understanding the 1996-1998 event using a quantification of the behavior of the CSWS modes is the next step of research.
