Conclusions
1.With the exception of Calanus finmarchicus, all the
dominant winter- spring copepods exhibited large
interannual differences in abundance on Georges Bank.
2.Patterns of abundance (high-low) tended to be similar
through each year.
3.The different dominant taxa tended to show the same
patterns between years. 1995 and 1996 were years of
low abundance, 1999 a year of high abundance, 1998 a little less so and
1997 intermediate.
