Launched zodiacs after briefing all personnel as to off-limits areas and ACA regulations. After launching, the vessel was contacted by the Spanish Antarctic station Gabriel de Castilla, who invited any interested personnel to visit. Two zodiacs landed there and were given a tour of the station. The station staff is in process of closing for the season, and only a core group remained. We then landed people briefly at Whaler's Bay. Departed Deception for Palmer Station at 1500, ETA Palmer 0800 2 March.
