Took nearly four hours to locate the package on the surface, as it was apparently caught in an eastward surface current inspite of the northwesterly winds. The package was finally located and successfully recovered towards mid-day. We then headed for S4A, ETA there 0500 20 February. Regards, Owen Marine Projects Coordinator R/V LAURENCE M.
