20100202:

Dicky had started work on this dataset back in OCt. 2003 and I'm going to finish it up.

There are 3 or 4 datasets: condition factor, growth, pigment
condition factor files appear done: 
larvalkr2001cf.dat
larvalkr2002cf.dat

The first thing I noticed about this dataset is that the 2002 cruise was listed as LMG0105.  First, there seems not to have been a cruise by that name in soglobec.  Second, these folks *were* on cruise LMG0205.  They did not submit any report for the cruise report LMG0106 but there was a report for LMG0205.

Added Ross and Quetin to the bcodmo database people table.

sample.sum.xls files - column header: "Pigment samples from larvae (y or n)": items for this column appear to be experiment/sample id's, not y or n.

blanks may mean 'n' but can't say, so use 'nd'.
blanks under IGR appear to be same value as cell above - these are sequential numbers that the data enterer probably didn't want to keep entering.

20100203:
Unsuccessful getting 'toplevel' files to work and since there are only 2 files for each object, I put merged them into one, in the xls files and then as .dat file.  I also sorted the data so that lengths increase (condition factor) or sorted by stage (growth)

***larvalkrillgr.dat loses 2091-2048=43 lines of data with the restructure.  Need rs ver. 2 here.***
