GLOBEC California Current
Mesoscale Sampling Grids

(J.Barth, OSU, 10 May 2000)

Note that these are listed in order along a track that a ship would take, i.e. east-to-west, then west-to-east, etc. This makes it easy to plot up as a continuous curve.

Fine-Resolution survey (north)

Waypoints are denoted by line number and a suffix of E (east end) or W (west end). Also note that the waypoint on the western end of lines 1, 2, 3, & 4 have a suffix of F (for fine-scale) appended to distinguish them from waypoints 1W, 2W, 3W, & 4W of the mesoscale survey (which are located further offshore).

Line 1 is the NH LTOP line. Line 4 is the HH LTOP line.
