Citrate Synthetase (CS)
Monte Carlo Chi-square test of  genetic heterogeneity:
  - among gyres P = 0.0000 + 0.000
  - within Western NA:  P = 0.0000 +- 0.0000
 -  within Eastern NA (Norwegian / Barents): P = 0.000 +- 0.000
 -  within Northern NA:  P = 0.000 +- 0.000
The same type of preliminary analysis is also done for 9 SNP sites in CS gene, hopefully showing the regional differences among the samples. . The story is slightly different with CS gene.

 Preliminary analysis of allele frequencies at 9 SNP sites in CS by Monte Carlo Chi-square test indicated significant population genetic heterogeneity among regional samples (p = 0.0000 + 0.000) and among pooled gyre samples
(p = 0.0000 + 0.000)

THE analysis did indicate highly significant differences among samples and among gyres. However, we did not see the genetic similarity within the western NA gyre this time
Unresolved regional scale genetic heterogeneity, will need additional study. More saples to be anaylzed

Differences between CS and HSP may result from sampling; additional statistical analysis will help resolve variation at regional and gyre scales
