Small zooplankton which may be available for larval fish
feeding were sampled during 5 cruises to the Georges Bank region using a
pumping system attached to the CTD unit for depth control. Individual
samples were filtered through 40 um mesh prior to sorting. Sample volume
was measured to the nearest 0.1 liter (+/-1%) with an in-line flow
sensor. Samples were taken at fixed nominal depths of 70, 50, 40, 35, 30,
      25, 20, 15, 10, 5, and 2 m. Zooplankton samples were sorted/counted by
taxa and life stages (Copepodite and Nauplius). Within each of the major
life stages, the taxa were further sorted into six developmental stages.
Copepodite stage 6 was further sorted by gender. ship/cruise/cruise
