Unknown Unknown Forty-six seals were selected for radio tagging during four expeditions to the Antarctic, fall and winter seasons of years 2001 and 2002. The captured seals were surveyed, prior to release, for their physiological and morphological conditions: body weight, body dimensions, blubber thickness, blood sampling, blood volume, tissue samples and general health.
