Type the text string into the text box, using the Enter key to start a new line.

You can create Greek letters and symbols using LaTeX syntax. For example, the string

• \ite^{i\omega\tau}

in the legend. See the table listing the available symbols for more information.

Font

• Font name - Select the name of the font family from the list. (FontName)
• Font weight - Selects a bold font available on your system. (FontWeight)
• Font angle - Selects an italics font available on your system. (FontAngle)
• Font size - An integer specifying the font size to use for text, in units determined by Font units. (FontSize)
• Font units - units used for Font size. (FontUnits)
• Normalized units interpret Font size as a fraction of the height of the parent axes. When you resize the axes, MATLAB modifies the screen font size accordingly.
• pixels, inches, centimeters, and points are predefined units (1 point = 1/72 inch)
• Color - Color of the text. Select from the list or specify an RGB value (e.g., [.7 .7 .7] is light gray. (Color)
