Nichols Plot Closed-Loop Peak Gain Constraints

This gray circle in your Nichols Plot represents a closed-loop peak gain constraint. The default values are 3 dB for the closed-loop peak gain located at -180 degrees. If you change parameter selections, this constraint may be a curve rather than a circle.
