Description

The Bias block adds a bias, or offset, to the input signal according to

where U is the block input and Y is the output.

Data Type Support

The Bias block accepts and outputs real or complex values of any data type supported by Simulink, except Boolean. The Bias block supports fixed-point data types.

Parameters and Dialog Box

Bias

Specify the value of the offset to add to the input signal.

Saturate on integer overflow

Select to have overflows saturate.
