Detect Rise Positive

Detect a rising edge when a signal's value increases to a strictly positive value, and its previous value was nonpositive

Description

The Detect Rise Positive block determines if the input is strictly positive, and its previous value was nonpositive where

• The output is true (not 0), when the input signal is greater than zero, and its previous value was less than zero.
• The output is false (equal to 0), when the input is negative or zero, or if the input is positive, its previous value was also positive.

Data Type Support

The Detect Rise Positive block accepts signals of any data type supported by Simulink, including fixed-point data types.

Initial condition

Set the initial condition of the Boolean expression U/z > 0.
