Setting Data Properties in the Data Dialog

You set data properties in the Data dialog when you

• Add new data in the Stateflow Diagram editor

• In the Stateflow diagram editor, from the Add menu, select Data, and, in the resulting pop-up menu, select a scope for the data. The Data dialog appears. See Adding Data in the Stateflow Diagram Editor for more details.

• Change the definition of new or existing data in the Model Explorer

• See Adding Data in the Model Explorer for details on how to create data in the Model Explorer. Once you select the new or existing data in the Contents pane in the Model Explorer, you can see the Data dialog.

  • In the far right Properties pane (if not, from the View menu select Show Dialog View).
  • When you right-click the data in the Contents pane and select Properties.

The Data dialog appears with the General page tabbed to the forefront.
