Saving Data to the MATLAB Workspace

For data of all scopes except Constant and Parameter, you can have Stateflow save its final value at the end of simulation in the MATLAB base workspace (not as a masked subsystem parameter) by doing one of the following:

In the Data properties dialog, in the Value Attributes panel, for the Initialize from field, select Save final value to base workspace.
In the Model Explorer, in the middle Contents pane, do the following:

Select the row for the data to highlight it.
Click the 0 value under the SaveToWorkspace field to see a check box materialize in its place.
Click the check box to check it.
Click outside the row to see a value of 1 replace the check box.
