Sizing Stateflow Data
You specify the size of Stateflow data in the Size field of the Data properties dialog. You can access this dialog when you create data in Stateflow or when you access the Model Explorer for existing data. In the Model Explorer, you can also specify data size in the middle Contents pane by clicking the cell in the Size column of the highlighted variable row and editing it. See Adding Data for details on creating and defining data in Stateflow.
You can size data to be a scalar, vector, or an n-dimensional matrix. You can also specify that the data inherit its size from a Simulink signal that it is connected to. Use the following topics to decide on what to enter for the size of your data in Stateflow:
