As of outer 3.2, an entry called iovaldouble_ must be provided in all inners. As documented in readme.outer, a dummy routine is provided for use in certain circumstances. Use of this dummy can result in single precision/double precision roundoff issues. In particular, the implicit selections done by using links in an html display may not work (eg, a "temperature=20.2" link may return nothing because the test being used is "temperature=20.1997" due to precision problems) The best solution to this problem is to recode the relevant inner so that it has a "native" iovaldouble_ entry. Please send email to wsass@whoi.edu if assistance is desired in the recoding.
