<en>

Overall, a nice, pretty, cheap ($400+ US) laser. Comes in a
variety of bundlings; i.e. 1100se, 1100xi.) This printer can be
converted to an 1100A with a scanner attachment (list US$150).
For the status of the scanner see the 1100A.
This printer is slow with Ghostscript versions prior to
5.50.

Unfortunately, this printer has a little hardware problem: The
paper separation pad hardens with the time and the printer pulls
in several sheets of paper at once. HP is aware of this and offers
a kit to fix this without needing to disassemble the printer for
free. It can be ordered for delivery into any country via their
