<en>

This is essentially the same printer as the PhotoSmart 1100,
except for the missing duplexer. It has ports on the side for
inserting SmartMedia and CompactFlash digital "film" and
has an LCD panel that lets you select pictures from the
"film" to print.

Up/downloading of photos between the PC and the printer/memory
card work with the HPOJ
low level drivers. You need
also the modifed USB printer.c kernel module from the HPOJ
web site, if you want to access your memory cards via
USB.

The best output one gets with HP's HPIJS 1.3 or newer. If you
cannot update to HPIJS 1.3 for some reason, you can also use HPIJS
1.2.2 with the patches from Matthias Bunte and Richard
Spencer-Smith ("hpijs-rss"). The GIMP-Print driver also
works (Model setting: "pcl-900"), but only up to 600
dpi.
