		<para>To check the mail server for new messages, right-click on the applet, then choose <guimenuitem>Update</guimenuitem>. <application>&applet;</application> contacts the mail server to determine if there is new mail on the server.</para>
		<para>You can configure <application>&applet;</application> to run a command when you click on the applet. See <xref linkend="mailcheck-behavior"/> for information about how to configure <application>&applet;</application> to run commands.</para>
