Male — (FIG3) Cephalosome more sharply defined behind than in female, forming at the end dorsally a small gibbous projection, and distinctly carinated above, frontal part somewhat more prominent; lateral corners of last pedigerous segment less produced. Pedigerous somites 4 and 5 separate. Urosome rather slender, with the 2nd segment much the largest. Subapical plumose setae of anterior antennae less developed than in female, and somewhat unequal in length.

Mouthparts. Well-developed. Antenna 1 similar, neither geniculate; segments 1 and 2 fused; ancestral segments X and XI separate. Second maxilla with Maxilliped endopod segments 5 and 6 with outer setae enlarged.

Legs. leg 2 exopod segment 1 with no recurved spine. Leg 5 with the terminal joint pear-shaped with thicker end at the base and nearly as long as the proceeding joint; corresponding inner ramus reaching beyond the middle of the 2nd joint of the outer one; endopod with 8 setae on both left and right legs; basipod 1 has teeth on the inner margin. Right leg 5 biramous; endopod separate from basis and 3-segmented; exopod similar to that of female and other swimming legs, 3-segmented. Left leg 5 biramous; endopod 3-segmented; exopod 3-segmented, similar to that of female and other swimming legs, somewhat longer than the right.
