The measurements were made at 1300 under cloudy skies and blowing snow. There was 2 cm of new surface snow with 5 cm of windpack snow beneath it. The ice thickness was 55 cm. The ice structure is described in CR-65. The slush layer of 7 August has refrozen, though it was still soft at the ice interface.
