This CD-ROM contains field data measured as part of snow and ice studies during the August 2001 Southern Globec cruise. This CD is intended to provide  background,  an overview of the observations, and metadata for the results. In addition to the web page the data are archived in Excel format in the directory GLOBEICE (Data summary).
