This CD contains contains a directory GlobeIce that has Excel spreadsheets presenting results from snow and ice measurements made during the July - August 2001 Southern Globec LM Gould cruise. Some of the spreadsheets have multiple pages. Each spreadsheet is listed below, along with a link to the appropriate section of this web. The files are:

BuoyData.xls - time series of barometric pressure and air temperature as measured by the four drifting buoys.

BuoyPos.xls - time series of latitude and longitude as measured by the four drifting buoys.

BuoyRadm.xls - time series of solar radiation at four wavelengths measured above the ice, at ice bottom, and in the water column.

Buoytemp.xls - time series of vertical profiles of air, snow, and ice temperatures measured at buoy 07949.

IceCores.xls - vertical profiles of ice temperature, salinity, brine volume, and crystallography as determined from ice cores.

LMGice.xls - bridge ice watch observations made on the LM Gould, including ice concentration, type, and thickness.

NBPice.xls -  bridge ice watch observations made on the NB Palmer, including ice concentration, type, and thickness.

Optics.xls - measurements of spectral albedo and transmittance made on August 7, 8, 11, 18.
