What do you like to do with your free time?
DON'T HAVE ANY

What was your most memorable cruise and why?
PANAMA TO ROSS ISLAND, ANTARCTICA, ACROSS ALL THE 'LIFE ZONES' OF THE PACIFIC OCEAN. CENSUSED SEABIRDS ALL THE WAY, EVERY DAY.

What first made you interested in Oceanography?
I WANTED TO LEARN AS MUCH ABOUT THE OCEAN THAT SEABIRDS SEEM TO KNOW

How often do you go on cruises and for how long?
THESE DAYS, ONCE MAYBE TWICE PER YEAR. IN EARLIER YEARS MORE OFTEN. 

What is one memorable experience you have had on a cruise?
PASSING THROUGH A HURRICANE ON THE R/V HERO OFF CHILE, AND WATCHING DORADO CHASE BAIT FISH FROM ONCE WAVE CREST TO THE NEXT, WITH JUAN FERNANDEZ PETRELS PICKING SOME OF THEM OFF (THE BAIT FISH), WITH THE WAVE CRESTS WAY HIGHER THAN US.

What attracts you to the ocean?
WAVES AND MYSTERIES

What part of your personality relates to the ocean and why?
NOT SURE
